Unlike many swimming pool builders, Goodall Pools and Spas includes a large, high-quality step unit with each pool.  Furthermore, all one-piece step units are not the same!  The Saratoga Step by Imperial Manufacturing offers more – more interior volume, more quality, more value.  These steps are designed to provide maximum comfortable seating area and maximum utility.

Indeed, the Saratoga Step is the highest quality pool step available to the industry.  It is manufactured with a material known as “Luran S” and is a one-piece integral step.  Luran S is a space-age material specifically developed to withstand severe weather, temperature, and chemical fluctuations.  It is also specifically formulated with ultraviolet inhibitors to ensure long-term durability.  Unlike many other step units in use today, the Saratoga Step comes with a twenty-five year limited warranty as well!

In addition to either an eight-foot width or six-foot width step (depending on the size of the pool) that comes as part of the standard pool package, there are a number of other Imperial Manufacturing items that may be added to complement the step unit or to exchange it entirely.  These items consist of a Corner Step, a Lazy Lounge, a Step-N-Spa, and even a Spill-Over Spa.  Each of these pieces are manufactured with the same exacting standards and the same Luran S material, and each is readily available for use on just about all the pools we build!

	Superior Tread Design Due to our state-of-the-art Vacuum Former and the sophisticated nature of our mold design, each step has the most detailed and distinctive pattern in the industry.		Mitered Faceplate To finish off our step, we have taken the time to perfectly miter the faceplate. A nice touch that will eliminate any jagged edges as well as provide a more attractive finish.
	Patented Dowel Alignment System With the use of dowels strategically located, alignment of face plate correctly is Guaranteed. Makes for exact screw hole fit.  No leakage at face plate! Gasket can't come loose! Makes leaking pool steps one thing you won't have to worry about.		Face Plate Cap No detail is overlooked. To protect against sharp edges, every Saratoga Step comes standard with two caps.
