From the very beginning Goodall Pools and Spas approaches your project in a different manner. You, your family, your home, even your backyard are unique from all others, and we believe that your swimming pool and its setting ought to reflect all of your individuality. For this reason we strive to listen carefully to your desires and dreams, and to partner with you to bring your vision to a wonderful reality.
The first step in this process is the filling-out and submission of our In-Ground Pool Survey. Once this has been completed a designer will quickly contact you to discuss your project in more detail and answer any questions you may have. Next, according to your interest (we are not “pushy”!), we will schedule a free on-site consultation with you at your property. This consultation gives our designer a first-hand look at the property itself, allows an accurate assessment of size, grades, existing items and any other site constraints, and then allows you and the designer plenty of time to discuss ideas, options, and associated costs.
At the end of this initial consultation you will have a clear understanding of what may be involved with your project, and realistically what amount of costs will need to be met. Now you will face a two-fold decision. First, will you choose to go forward with this project? Second, will you choose to contract with Goodall Pools and Spas to build this project?
If your answer to each of these questions is “Yes”, then the actual design process will begin in earnest! At this point Goodall Pools and Spas will ask you for a small deposit to secure your place on our construction schedule and to commission the design process. Our designer will then accurately measure your yard, including all slopes, existing items, etc, and will prepare a “first draft” and proposal for your project. You will review this with the designer, consider various options and changes, and together, back and forth, you will develop the specifics for your project. In our minds, this design process is not finished until you understand every last detail of the plan, and you are VERY EXCITED about getting started!
Once the design process has been completed our contracts are prepared and signed, a larger deposit is collected, and a complete 3D computer aided design is created. This allows you to see what the pool will look like from any angle and gives you the opportuninty to make changes before the project begins.
The great detail in these designs also serves an excellent purpose in the last phase of the design process – procuring the necessary permits from your local governing agency. Goodall Pools and Spas personnel will fill-out and submit all applications needed, as well as provide any additional information needed to your Township or Borough authorities. Once these permits have been obtained, it will be only a short time until excavation can begin!
Examples
Below is a sample screenshot from of one of our swimming pool designs. This particular project involved a large number of plants tastefully arranged around the pool and patio area.

Of course, not every project has that amount of greenery involved. Here’s a sample design from a project that centered on having a large patio area and less plant life:
